What you’ll do

As a Manager, IT Business Partner, you will manage AstraZeneca’s information system and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, in order to make a positive impact on IT/Digital strategic portfolio for the business functions.  

Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

• Oversee HK market as member of extended HK leadership team
• As IT Business Partner to communicate across senior business leaders. Understand their business operations and pain points, drive conversations to provide technology advisory. Perform prioritization and balance interest across departments
• Partner with business functions to develop IT/Digital strategies that are firmly linked to and part of the overall business strategy
• Manage and lead the planning and execution of the IT/Digital strategic portfolio for the business functions
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve business effectiveness and leverage through innovative technologies and business applications
• Facilitate & co-ordinate specifications with process owners, key users and work with delivery team for implementation
• Responsible for HK IT/Digital budget. Review project proposal resourcing and budgets and raise queries / make recommendations on proposed expenditure

Essential for the role

• University graduate or above in Information Technology or related discipline
• 10+ year working experience with minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable position and scope of responsibilities, with consulting experience in strategic planning, systems implementation, project management, or business process improvement is desirable
• Experienced in specifying requirements, developing business cases, and conducting software evaluation and selection, including proven experience in applying methodological approaches in these areas
• Experienced in developing and deploying systems using internal and external resources
• Strong track record of project management and delivery
• Competent in the management of contractual partnership arrangements, for example, negotiation with customers and suppliers
• Strong knowledge on data and analytics capabilities with proven experience on related projects
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (Veeva / Salesforce etc.)
• Possess knowledge of ERP, CRM, GMP, GSP, computer systems validation, Sarbannes Oxley 404, and IS Project Management Methodology (PMP) is preferred
• Good knowledge on HK and mainland digital eco-system (including WhatsApp, Facebook, WeChat etc.)
• Good at ITIL or IT Services Management (ITSM)
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, conversable Mandarin is an advantage
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• MBA is preferred
